In August of 1998 I took part in a project to measure the skyline of the city of Istanbul. The project was a cooperation of the Technical University of Istanbul, the Technet GmbH and the ifp. The aim was to be able to predict the impact a planned building complex has on the perception of the skyline by the citizens of Istanbul.
